Walking
There are many footpaths in the area. In the neighbouring area of Vaset, you can take pleasant walks to the summit of the Knippa and Gråkampen among others, but simpler walks are also possible.

Cycling
With both sport-bicycle or mountain-bike you can make wonderful trips. There is something suitable for everyone. In Vaset there are excellent bike/mountain-bike routes.
We have two mountain-bikes for rent.

Fishing
With the Valdres fish-card you can fish in one of the
65 lakes and rivers of Valdres for trout and perch.

Swimming
Opposite the pension you can swim in the bay of Strandafjorden. There is a nice beach as well as picnic tables.

Canoe
In Vaset and Fagernes you can rent canoes for making enjoyable trips on the lakes. You can also make use of our row-boat.

Horse-riding
In Vaset you can rent horses and go on beautiful horse rides in the area.  

Golf
From May till October you can play golf on a first class golf course in Fagernes, 25 km from Røn. The golf-course is 300 metres above sea level and has nine holes plus an exercise course with six holes.

Further there are possibilities for elk safari in the area.
At the same time you can also make use of our: table-tennis table, badminton rackets and the football game.
